The red and black grains make this blend look much more interesting on the plate than standard white quinoa. I was relieved it was pre-rinsed since I’ve forgotten to do that before, and the nutty flavor really comes through after toasting it lightly.

The nutty flavor of this tri-color blend is noticeably richer than standard quinoa, and the texture stays perfectly fluffy without getting mushy. I've been adding it to my lunch salads all week.
